Day 4 Sept 11 in Grand Canyon Village

Braun and I went for our morning walk while Paul set up the bicycles we saw three elk and a deer wandering thru the campground.

Our floor pump crapped out so Paul had to pump the bike tires with the viair pump that has to be hooked up to the battery. Hopefully if we find a trek store we can take it back to them and say excuse me this is only 3 months old and it stopped working.

We biked up to yaki point which is the farthest we can go in one direction it was almost 4 miles.

Then we continued on the road, we totaled at 16 miles and over 1000 ft of climbing. I had lunch, a salad, and Paul ate a bag of Doritos. He then took a nap. I watched Annie.

Then we took the blue bus to the visitor center and walked to the geology museum, a mile away. There were dark clouds and thunder so we didn't walk back. We took the orange bus, transferred to the blue bus, then had to get off to get on the blue bus the other direction back to our doggo in the rig. We are pretty ripe after riding and walking.  Now we are watching Fort Apache movie.

This evening the elk were back
