Day 2 Sept 9 Joshua Tree NP, Mojave Trails NM, to Bullhead City

Today we start out work Joshua tree NP. It's 66 miles away. Just off the road towards Joshua tree we saw some guy waving madly and we got to do our good deed for the day.  A young couple from Germany spent the night out in the desert and left something on and their battery in their car was dead so we got to jump them.
Driving thru Joshua tree there are parts with lots of chollas, and parts with lots of Joshua trees
Our journey continued to Anboy to find Mojave Trails National Monument. We went there but we couldn't find it. We did find a big old Buddha.
We are still getting used to the new TPMS system and it kept alarming for a high pressure in the right inner duly. Paul bled a little bit of pressure out of there and it seems better. It sure has a loud alarm. I guess the temperature inside the tires can go up to 150° and the pressure is supposed to be between 60 and 75. So much to learn.
We made it to our Park and got a place right across from the pool. I walked over to the pool and couldn't open the gate, trip was locked or so I thought. Braun and I hiked back up to the office and the lady said there's another latch besides the one in the middle, and that one was open. Our plan is to go cool off in the pool although I suspect it won't be cool it's 99 degrees outside.
The pool was lovely. A bit cool surprisingly, it's breezy and I expect to be dry before I get back to the RV.  We spent the evening watching Duane Pride save New Orleans from scum.
I like this RV Park in bullhead City. It's the best of all of the CRA properties. It's the best maintained.   I love the metal statues and the pool.
