Day 11 Sept 18 in Bryce Canyon NP

I got up this morning it was 34°at 6a, so I turned on my electric blanket and got out my book I was not going to take the dog walking in that. At 8:00 when Paul woke up took the dog walking it said it was 36 degrees degrees but Paul thinks it was warmer than that. At 9:00 I went out to take the dog walking our two miles. I wasn't freezing it was cool but not cold. When I got back it was 59 degrees. We are at 9,000 ft.
We took the shuttle to the farthest point at Bryce point them walked the rim trail back. It's 3 miles so it says. Paul's map my ride said 3.3 miles, mine said 2.7 miles. Somehow I thought it would be flat, it wasn't.
The views from it were spectacular. no side rails, and steep drop offs on both sides in part.
Lots of arches, columns, Hoodoos.
